IMPORTANT BEFORE BOOKING YOUR IPL TREATMENT APPOINTMENT:

You cannot be treated using IPL if any of the following are present:

• Recent tanning, sunburn, tanned skin, use of self-tanners
• Anti-biotics used within 2 weeks before treatment
• Straining types of exercise before treatment

AFTER having an IPL Treatment:

• Avoid sun exposure for 1 week after an IPL even with sunblock
• If you are planning an activity with extensive sun exposure wait until the activity is over to have an IPL.
• If you going to an event where you would like your skin to look nice, your skin will be darker for 1 week after treatment. You may apply make-up, however, it may not fully cover the darker sunspots which an IPL treatment will bring up to the surface.
